THE FAIR-PLAY VERSION
Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the ScoreboardWTF mobile app, free TV companion, website, and connected service.
Effective August 29, 2026
Using ScoreboardWTF
You may use ScoreboardWTF for personal or lawful organizational scorekeeping. The mobile purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app through the store account that acquired it, subject to the store’s terms. The TV companion is optional and free. There are no subscriptions, advertisements, or in-app purchases in version 1.0.
No account
ScoreboardWTF does not create a user account. Anonymous device credentials exist only to secure optional connected sessions. You are responsible for access to your devices and for the accuracy of scores you enter.
Connected service
Connected mode is provided to synchronize an active match between authorized phones and displays. Do not attempt to bypass pairing, interfere with another match, probe credentials, overload the service, or use the service unlawfully. We may rate-limit or block abusive traffic and may change or discontinue connected infrastructure when reasonably necessary.
Availability and match decisions
Offline scoring remains available without the connected service. Network delivery, pairing, and realtime updates may occasionally be delayed or unavailable. ScoreboardWTF is a convenience tool, not an official referee, timing authority, gambling system, emergency service, or guaranteed record. Players and organizers remain responsible for confirming rules and results.
Updates and compatibility
Updates may change supported platforms or require a newer operating system. Store providers control purchases, refunds, installation, and availability under their own terms. Your use of Apple or Google services is also governed by their applicable rules.
Intellectual property
ScoreboardWTF software, copy, and original product materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer except where law expressly permits, or use the ScoreboardWTF identity in a misleading way.
Disclaimer and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScoreboardWTF is provided “as is” and without warranties beyond rights that cannot legally be excluded. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms prospectively. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply, subject to applicable law. The release contact address is reserved but not active during this engineering preview; current contact status is published on the Support page.
